When Is the F’ing Store Open?

I get it. It looks like a store. It has gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, apparel, and even a front door. You would reasonably expect that door to unlock at a predictable time. Or maybe you had no idea we sell anything besides rentals. Either way, welcome.

That is not quite how this little island shanty of a shop works.

Seas the Day is open by appointment and for advance bookings. I’m a single dad raising two rad kids who live here on the island. I also work full time as a creative director and volunteer as an island firefighter and EMT. Apparently, I have a hard time saying no to responsibilities.

The easiest way to reach me is by text or through the website. If you want to browse the shop, try on some sunglasses, pick up sunscreen, or see what new gear has arrived, just reach out and we’ll set up a time. I can usually accommodate you the same day.

Think of it as personal shopping, except your personal shopper may have just finished moving kayaks, responding to an emergency call, working on a design project, or picking up his kids. There is also a good chance I'm on the water.
