Welcome to Earth, and more specifically, Lummi Island.

We are honored that after traveling across the known universe, navigating our atmosphere, and presumably passing several more famous destinations, you chose our little rock.

Getting Here

Set your interplanetary navigation system to Gooseberry Point Ferry Dock, Washington, Earth.

Please do not attempt to land your spacecraft directly on the ferry. Vehicle space is limited, and the crew may ask questions we are not qualified to answer.

The ferry usually departs Gooseberry Point about 10 minutes after the hour, and the crossing takes approximately eight Earth minutes. Summer lines can be long, so allow extra time. We understand that time may work differently on your planet, but the ferry schedule does not.

Your First Island Adventure

Seas the Day rents kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and other outdoor gear. Equipment designed for additional limbs, unusual gravitational requirements, or bodies composed entirely of energy may require advance notice.

Please book online or send a text before arriving. The shop is open by appointment, even for visitors from beyond our solar system. We can usually accommodate same-day requests, depending on availability, weather conditions, and whether your arrival causes widespread panic.

Important Local Information

Lummi Island is peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by cold salt water. Please respect private property, follow local beach access rules, and avoid abducting the residents. Most of us already have enough going on.

Before heading onto the water, we’ll check the wind, weather, and tides. Superior alien technology does not make you immune to local conditions.

Sunscreen may not be necessary if your species does not have skin. Sunglasses, however, look cool throughout the galaxy.
